Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team in Foro, Eritrea. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments for various projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in environmental science and a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field and at least 8 years of experience in environmental impact assessment. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental impact assessments for various projects, including energy, mining, and manufacturing
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate environmental risks
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
