Job Overview

This role focuses on assessing the environmental impact of marine infrastructure projects, including port expansions, offshore wind farms, and coastal tourism developments. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct baseline environmental assessments for marine projects
  • Prepare impact assessment reports for regulatory submissions
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders on marine conservation initiatives
  • Monitor compliance with Eritrean and international environmental laws
  • Develop mitigation strategies for coastal ecosystem protection

Required Skills

  • Expertise in marine biodiversity assessment
  • Proficiency in GIS and remote sensing tools
  • Strong data analysis and report writing skills
  • Knowledge of Eritrean marine ecosystems
  • Bilingual communication (English/Tigrinya preferred)

Education
