Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and integrate geological, geochemical, and geophysical datasets from field surveys, drilling programs, and laboratory analyses.
• Develop and maintain GIS databases, 3D geological models, and spatial analysis tools to support exploration targeting.
• Perform statistical analyses, trend mapping, and resource estimation using software such as Surfer, Leapfrog, and GeoStudio.
• Generate detailed reports, maps, and visual dashboards for senior geologists, mine planners, and executive leadership.
• Collaborate with drilling engineers, environmental specialists, and health & safety teams to ensure data aligns with regulatory and operational requirements.
• Identify data gaps, propose data acquisition strategies, and recommend improvements to data collection protocols.
• Support the preparation of technical documentation for regulatory submissions and investor presentations.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS) and 3D modeling software.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical software (R, Python, MATLAB).
• Excellent data visualization abilities and familiarity with dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Attention to detail and ability to manage large, complex datasets.
• Effective communication skills for presenting technical findings to non‑technical audiences.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Mining Engineering, or a closely related field is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in GIS, data science, or mineral resource estimation are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
