Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry Systems Analyst to join our team in Mendefera, Eritrea. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry conservation efforts in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital forestry systems to support conservation efforts
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to design and implement digital solutions
  • Conduct field research to gather data on forest ecosystems
  • Develop and maintain databases to store and analyze forest data
  • Provide technical support to local communities on digital forestry systems

Required Skills:

  • Strong technical skills in digital forestry systems and data analysis
  • Experience in working with local communities and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Fluency in English and local languages
