Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental impact assessments for various projects, including infrastructure development, mining, and energy projects
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans to minimize the environmental impacts of projects
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that environmental considerations are integrated into project planning and decision-making
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and other project stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on environmental issues

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and management
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and policies in Eritrea
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
