Job Overview

EERI is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Data Analyst to join our team in Massawa. This role will support critical research initiatives focused on marine biodiversity, coastal erosion, and climate change impacts. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyze environmental data from field surveys and remote sensing technologies
  • Develop visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with researchers on climate change mitigation projects
  • Monitor coastal ecosystem health using GIS mapping software
  • Support the development of environmental impact assessments

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, Python, or SPSS)

  • Strong data interpretation and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of marine environmental monitoring protocols

Education
