Job Overview

This role involves designing and developing interactive virtual reality (VR) experiences tailored to Eritrean cultural and developmental needs. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable VR applications for training, tourism, and industrial use cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and prototype VR experiences using Unity 3D and Unreal Engine.
  • Conduct user research to identify local needs for VR applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, artists, and stakeholders to integrate cultural and technical requirements.
  • Test and optimize VR applications for performance and accessibility.
  • Document design processes and present solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Unity 3D, Unreal Engine, and Blender.
  • Strong understanding of VR design principles and user experience (UX).
  • Experience in 3D modeling, animation, and interactive storytelling.
  • Knowledge of Eritrean cultural heritage and developmental challenges.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Design, or related field.

Experience

  • 3-5 years in VR/AR development or interactive media design.

Salary

120,000 – 180,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience.
