Job Overview

The Senior Supply Chain Auditor will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of our logistics operations within the region. This position involves conducting comprehensive audits of procurement processes, warehouse management, and transportation workflows to identify risks and optimize performance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular internal audits of supply chain processes to ensure compliance with Maersk’s global standards and local Eritrean laws.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend strategic improvements to enhance logistics efficiency.
• Evaluate vendor performance and procurement practices to mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Collaborate with the logistics and warehouse teams to implement standardized reporting and documentation protocols.
• Prepare detailed audit reports for senior management, highlighting key findings and corrective action plans.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and warehouse management system (WMS) integrity.

Education

Experience

Candidates must possess at least 5 to 7 years of direct experience in supply chain auditing, logistics management, or quality assurance within a large-scale international corporation. Proven experience in navigating complex regulatory environments is essential for success in this role.

Salary
