We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Financial Controller to join our growing operations in Asmara. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Manage the group’s financial reporting processes and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads.
• Monitor and control regional expenditures to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure seamless compliance and audit processes.
• Provide strategic financial analysis to support decision-making for new product launches and market expansions.
• Manage tax compliance and ensure all local and international tax obligations are met.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and complex data analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local banking regulations.
• Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in advanced ERP systems and financial software.

Education

A Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage during the selection process.
