Job Overview

The Precision Agriculture Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data‑driven farming solutions across Nestlé’s supply chain in Eritrea. Working closely with agronomists, data scientists, and local farmer cooperatives, you will harness satellite imagery, IoT sensors, and advanced analytics to improve crop yields, reduce resource consumption, and ensure compliance with sustainability standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy precision farming platforms using GIS, remote sensing, and drone technology.
• Analyze spatial and temporal data to generate actionable insights for yield optimization.
• Collaborate with local farmer groups to train and support adoption of technology solutions.
• Integrate precision agriculture data with Nestlé’s supply chain management systems.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in precision agriculture, GIS, or data analytics is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Candidates must have at least five years of hands‑on experience implementing precision agriculture solutions, preferably in emerging markets or similar climatic zones. Salary
