Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) in Barentu. This role is critical to our mission of protecting our clients from evolving digital threats. You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents in real-time. This position requires a deep understanding of network protocols, threat landscapes, and advanced forensic techniques. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and perform deep-dive analysis on potential security incidents.
- Lead complex incident response procedures to contain and remediate threats.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify hidden vulnerabilities within client networks.
- Develop and refine security playbooks and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security enhancements and architectural improvements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior security analysts.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in SIEM, EDR, and network traffic analysis tools.
- Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and adversary tactics.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and common web protocols.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a similar cybersecurity role. Proven experience in incident response, digital forensics, and threat intelligence is essential for success in this position.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s expertise and performance during the interview process.
