The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data related to forest ecosystems, and for developing and implementing strategies to promote sustainable forest management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, forestry, or a related field, and will have experience working with data analysis and visualization tools. They will also have excellent communication and project management skills, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Forestry Systems Analyst to join our team in Senafe, Eritrea. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data related to forest ecosystems, and for developing and implementing strategies to promote sustainable forest management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, forestry, or a related field, and will have experience working with data analysis and visualization tools. They will also have excellent communication and project management skills, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Collecting and analyzing data related to forest ecosystems, including forest cover, tree species composition, and forest health.
- Developing and implementing strategies to promote sustainable forest management, including the development of forest management plans and the implementation of forest conservation projects.
- Working with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and private sector partners, to promote sustainable forest management and to develop and implement forest conservation projects.
- Developing and implementing data analysis and visualization tools to support forest management and conservation efforts.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong background in environmental science, forestry, or a related field.
- Experience working with data analysis and visualization tools, including GIS and remote sensing software.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary
The salary for this position is 30,000 – 40,000 SSP per month.
