Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Forestry Systems Analyst to join our team in Senafe, Eritrea. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry management and conservation efforts.
The Digital Forestry Systems Analyst will work closely with our forestry team to design and implement digital systems for data collection, analysis, and visualization. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining databases, creating reports, and providing technical support to our team members.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental sustainability, forestry management, and digital systems. They will be highly skilled in data analysis, programming languages (e.g., Python, R), and database management. Excellent communication and project management skills are also essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital solutions to support forestry management and conservation efforts
- Design and implement digital systems for data collection, analysis, and visualization
- Develop and maintain databases, create reports, and provide technical support to team members
- Collaborate with the forestry team to develop and implement digital forestry management plans
- Provide technical support to team members on digital systems and data analysis
Required Skills
- Strong background in environmental sustainability and forestry management
- Highly skilled in data analysis, programming languages (e.g., Python, R), and database management
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
