Job Overview
This role involves analyzing satellite and drone-derived geospatial data to support infrastructure development, land use planning, and resource management projects in Eritrea. The position requires proficiency in GIS software, remote sensing technologies, and data visualization tools to deliver actionable insights for clients across sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and analyze high-resolution satellite imagery and drone data
- Create detailed geospatial maps and 3D models for infrastructure and urban planning
- Collaborate with local authorities on land use and environmental monitoring projects
- Develop automated workflows for data processing and analysis
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
Required Skills
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, and ENVI software
- Experience with Python for geospatial data automation
- Strong analytical skills in remote sensing and spatial data interpretation
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of Eritrean geography and infrastructure projects
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, or related field
