Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Urban Planner to join our team in Dekemhare, Eritrea. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning and design of urban development projects, ensuring that they are sustainable, environmentally friendly, and meet the needs of the local community. The role will involve working closely with our clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver projects that meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and design of urban development projects, ensuring that they are sustainable, environmentally friendly, and meet the needs of the local community
- Work closely with our clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver projects that meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability
- Develop and implement sustainable urban planning strategies that promote economic growth, social equity, and environmental protection
- Conduct feasibility studies and assessments to identify opportunities for urban development and regeneration
- Collaborate with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects meet the needs of the local community
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in urban planning and development
- Proven track record of delivering sustainable urban development projects
- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, policies, and regulations
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
