Job Overview
The Senior Procurement Officer will play a critical role in optimizing our local supply chain operations in the Badi region. This position involves managing complex vendor relationships, negotiating high-value contracts, and ensuring that all procurement activities align with international compliance standards. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of procurement, from identifying needs to final delivery and payment verification. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines.
- Negotiate complex service level agreements (SLAs) and procurement contracts with local and international vendors.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate vendor performance.
- Manage the end-to-end purchase order process, ensuring accuracy in documentation and compliance.
- Collaborate with the finance department to manage procurement budgets and ensure timely payments.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to prevent supply shortages.

Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is highly preferred.
