Job Overview
The Senior Power Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and stability of Eritrea’s power grid. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive load flow, short‑circuit, and stability studies using industry‑standard software.
- Develop and maintain detailed power system models for transmission and distribution networks.
- Analyze system performance data to identify bottlenecks, losses, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with planning, operations, and maintenance teams to implement grid reinforcement projects.
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and cost‑benefit analyses for new generation and transmission projects.
- Provide expert guidance on integration of renewable energy sources and smart grid technologies.

Required Skills

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPEE, PMP) are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
