Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with international GMP standards.
• Lead internal and external audits to verify the integrity of the supply chain and manufacturing processes.
• Manage the investigation of quality deviations, non-conformances, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Oversee the validation of laboratory equipment and analytical methods used in product testing.
• Collaborate with regulatory affairs teams to ensure all documentation meets national health authority requirements.
• Train and mentor junior quality assurance staff to foster a culture of quality excellence.

Required Skills

• Expert knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex scientific data.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in quality management software and statistical analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.

Education

A Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related chemical science is mandatory. A PhD in a relevant scientific field is highly preferred. Professional certification in Quality Management Systems (QMS) is an added advantage.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance or quality control within a large-scale manufacturing or distribution environment. Proven experience in managing regulatory audits and implementing CAPA systems is essential for this role.

Salary
