Job Summary

Nevsun Resources, through Bisha Mining Share Company, is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical / Piping Engineer to support large-scale industrial, mining, processing plant, and infrastructure projects in Eritrea. The successful candidate will lead piping design reviews, mechanical system optimization, construction supervision, equipment installation, and operational reliability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead detailed design and engineering reviews for piping systems and mechanical installations.
• Develop piping layouts, equipment specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, and international engineering standards.
• Review vendor drawings and technical submissions.
• Supervise construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and reliability studies.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
