Job Overview
The Senior E-commerce Strategist will play a pivotal role in driving our online marketplace growth. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing digital sales strategies that increase user engagement and conversion rates. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce growth strategies to increase market share in the region.
- Analyze consumer data and market trends to identify new product categories and seasonal opportunities.
- Optimize product listings and digital storefronts for maximum visibility and conversion.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to manage high-budget digital advertising campaigns.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Lifetime Value (LTV).
- Coordinate with local logistics partners to ensure digital orders are fulfilled with precision.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics and other web tracking tools.
- Expertise in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
- Strong ability to interpret complex datasets to drive business decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Deep understanding of mobile-first user experience (UX) design principles.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field is required. Professional certifications in Digital Marketing (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot) are highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience in digital marketing or e-commerce management. Proven track record of managing large-scale digital budgets and driving measurable revenue growth is essential. Experience in the East African market is a significant advantage.
Salary
