Job Overview

The Renewable Energy Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of solar and wind projects throughout Eritrea. Reporting to the Regional Director, the incumbent will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure projects meet technical, financial, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee project plans, budgets, and timelines for solar and wind installations.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analyses to ensure project viability.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and finance teams to align objectives.
• Manage permits, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder approvals in accordance with Eritrean law.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as PMP or Prince2 are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during selection.

Experience

Applicants must have at least five years of hands‑on experience managing solar or wind projects from conception through commissioning. Experience working in East Africa or similar emerging markets is preferred, as is familiarity with international financing structures for renewable energy.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from 150,000 to 250,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, and pension contributions.
