Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Railway Infrastructure Project Manager to lead our flagship railway development project in Ghinda, Eritrea. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of railway construction, from initial planning and design coordination to execution, quality control, and final commissioning. The successful candidate will manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with international safety and engineering standards, and maintain project timelines and budgets while fostering strong relationships with local stakeholders and regulatory authorities. Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall project planning, including scope definition, resource allocation, and timeline development
• Manage project budget, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-control measures
• Coordinate with engineering teams on design specifications and technical requirements
• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Liaise with government authorities, local communities, and project stakeholders

Experience

Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in railway infrastructure or large-scale transportation projects, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated experience in managing projects exceeding $50 million budget, preferably in emerging markets. Experience working with international engineering standards and multicultural teams is essential.
