Job Overview

As a Digital Media Producer, you will lead the creation and distribution of engaging multimedia content tailored to Eritrean audiences. This role combines creative storytelling with technical expertise to produce videos, podcasts, and interactive digital experiences that reflect Eritrea’s rich cultural heritage and contemporary narratives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, produce, and edit digital content for web, social media, and broadcast platforms
  • Collaborate with local artists, historians, and community leaders to create culturally relevant content
  • Develop and execute content calendars aligned with Eritrean cultural events and global news cycles
  • Utilize video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and audio tools (Audacity, Adobe Audition)
  • Optimize content for SEO and audience engagement metrics

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in digital video production and post-production workflows
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms and content trends
  • Fluency in Tigrinya and English with basic knowledge of Italian or French
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools
  • Creative problem-solving skills for on-location production challenges

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Media Production, Journalism, or Communications
  • Certifications in digital media tools or platforms (optional but advantageous)

Experience

  • 3-5 years in digital media production with a focus on multicultural content creation
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end content production cycles

Salary

15,000 – 25,000 SSP/month, commensurate with experience and portfolio quality.
