Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Agriculture Systems Developer to join our team in Nakfa, Eritrea. As a Digital Agriculture Systems Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying digital agriculture systems that improve crop yields, reduce waste, and enhance food security. You will work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy digital agriculture systems that improve crop yields, reduce waste, and enhance food security
- Work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers
- Collaborate with farmers, growers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of our products and services
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in digital agriculture and related technologies, and apply that knowledge to improve our products and services
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with digital agriculture systems, including precision agriculture, data analytics, and IoT technologies
- Strong understanding of agriculture and related technologies, including crop management, soil science, and entomology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with farmers, growers, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in digital agriculture systems development, or a related field
Salary
SSP 150,000 – SSP 250,000 per annum
