Job Overview:
At Equinix, we are seeking an experienced Data Centre Operations Manager to join our team in Dekemhare, Eritrea. As a Data Centre Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our data centre, ensuring that our customers’ equipment is properly installed, configured, and maintained. You will also be responsible for managing our data centre’s power, cooling, and security systems, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in data centre operations, with experience in managing teams and leading projects. You will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our data centre, including equipment installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Oversee the management of our data centre’s power, cooling, and security systems
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
- Lead and manage a team of data centre operations staff
- Develop and implement strategies to improve data centre efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of data centre services
