Job Overview

At Equinix, we are seeking a highly experienced Data Center Operations Manager to join our team in Dekemhare, Eritrea. As a Data Center Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our data center, ensuring that our customers’ equipment is properly installed, configured and maintained.

You will work closely with our engineering and technical teams to ensure that our data center is running smoothly and efficiently, and that our customers are satisfied with our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the data center, including equipment installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Work closely with our engineering and technical teams to ensure that the data center is running smoothly and efficiently.
• Ensure that our customers’ equipment is properly installed, configured and maintained.
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve data center operations and efficiency.
• Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of experience in data center operations, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of data center operations, including equipment installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience

8-12 years of experience in data center operations, preferably in a leadership role.

Salary

50,000 – 70,000 SSP per month.
