Job Overview

The Cloud Solutions Architect will design, develop, and implement scalable cloud architectures that meet the unique needs of Huawei’s enterprise and government clients in Eritrea and the wider Horn of Africa. Key Responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end cloud solutions, including infrastructure, platform, and software services, tailored to client requirements.
• Conduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and cost‑benefit analyses for cloud migration projects.
• Lead architecture workshops and present solution proposals to senior stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate cloud services with existing on‑premise systems.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with network design, load balancing, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or Tigrinya is a plus.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as Huawei Certified Cloud Architect (HCIA‑Cloud), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.

Experience

Salary
