Job Overview

The Network Optimization Engineer will play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance, reliability, and efficiency of EriTel’s mobile and fixed‑line networks. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive drive‑test and performance measurements to identify network bottlenecks and coverage gaps.
• Develop and implement optimization plans for radio access network (RAN) and core network elements.
• Collaborate with RF engineers, planning teams, and vendor partners to fine‑tune parameters and rollout upgrades.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports to track improvement trends.
• Provide technical support for network incidents and participate in root‑cause analysis.
• Assist in the planning and deployment of new technologies such as LTE‑Advanced and 5G.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in network analysis tools (e.g., Atoll, TEMS, NetAct).
• In‑depth knowledge of GSM, UMTS, LTE, and emerging 5G technologies.
• Experience with KPI monitoring, drive‑test data processing, and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑team collaboration and stakeholder reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple optimization projects simultaneously.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as Cisco CCNP, Nokia NRS, or Ericsson certifications are considered a plus.

Experience

Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in telecom network optimization, preferably within a mobile operator environment. Experience with network planning, drive‑test campaigns, and performance analysis in emerging markets is highly valued.

Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from 150,000 to 250,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with performance‑based incentives.
