Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Renewable Energy Systems Designer to lead our design initiatives in Barentu. This role is critical to our mission of expanding renewable energy capacity within the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing complex solar, wind, and hybrid energy systems that integrate seamlessly with existing grids. You will work on large-scale projects that require advanced mathematical modeling, technical simulation, and deep knowledge of power electronics. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process for large-scale solar and wind energy installations.
• Perform complex electrical load calculations and system stability simulations.
• Develop detailed technical specifications and blueprints for renewable energy hardware.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure designs are cost-effective and timely.
• Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement for renewable energy components.
• Ensure all designs comply with international electrical standards and local regulations.
• Mentor junior design engineers and provide technical oversight on ongoing projects.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in CAD software and electrical simulation tools (e.g., PVSyst, HOMER).

Education

A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a closely related technical field is mandatory. A PhD is considered a significant advantage for this senior-level position.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in renewable energy system design. Prior experience in large-scale utility projects and working with international engineering standards is highly preferred. Proven track record in leading design teams is essential.

Salary

The offered salary for this position is between 45,000 and 65,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and technical expertise.
