Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior E-learning Content Developer to join our growing academic team in Keren. This role is pivotal in our strategy to digitize our curriculum and provide interactive, engaging, and accessible learning experiences for students across the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of digital learning modules, ranging from simple video tutorials to complex, interactive simulations. This position requires a unique blend of pedagogical expertise and technical proficiency in modern authoring tools. You will work closely with subject matter experts to translate complex academic concepts into digestible, digital-first content that caters to diverse learning styles. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive e-learning modules using industry-standard authoring tools.
- Collaborate with academic specialists to ensure all digital content aligns with national and international educational standards.
- Create multimedia assets including instructional videos, interactive quizzes, and digital infographics.
- Manage the integration of content into our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Conduct regular usability testing to ensure digital content is accessible to users with varying levels of digital literacy.
- Analyze learner data to continuously improve the effectiveness of digital instructional materials.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar e-learning authoring software.
- Deep understanding of instructional design models such as ADDIE or SAM.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple content development timelines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages.
- Proficiency in video editing software and graphic design principles.
Education
A Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field is mandatory. A Bachelor’s degree in Education or Computer Science may be considered if accompanied by extensive professional experience in digital content creation.
Experience
Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of five years of professional experience in developing digital learning content for educational institutions or corporate training environments. A proven portfolio of interactive e-learning modules is required for the interview stage.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 45,000 SSP to 65,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s level of expertise and technical proficiency.
