Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainable Agriculture Systems Developer to join our team in Senafe, Eritrea. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable agriculture systems that improve crop yields and reduce environmental impact.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and experience in developing and implementing sustainable agriculture systems. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
The position will involve working closely with farmers, agricultural businesses, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
The successful candidate will be based in Senafe, Eritrea and will be required to travel regularly to other parts of the country to meet with customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable agriculture systems that improve crop yields and reduce environmental impact
- Work closely with farmers, agricultural businesses, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
- Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices in sustainable agriculture and develop new solutions to address emerging challenges
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, agricultural businesses, and government agencies
- Provide technical support and training to farmers and agricultural businesses on sustainable agriculture practices
Required Skills
- Strong background in agriculture and experience in developing and implementing sustainable agriculture systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel regularly to other parts of the country
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field
