Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Aquaculture Systems Developer to join our team in Agordat, Eritrea. As a key member of our aquaculture development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining sustainable aquaculture systems that meet our high standards of quality and environmental responsibility.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in aquaculture, marine biology, or a related field, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in aquaculture system development and management. You will be based in Agordat, Eritrea, and will work closely with our team to ensure the success of our aquaculture operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement sustainable aquaculture systems that meet our high standards of quality and environmental responsibility.

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful operation of our aquaculture facilities.

Monitor and analyze water quality, fish health, and other key performance indicators to ensure the optimal performance of our aquaculture systems.

Collaborate with our research and development team to identify and implement new technologies and best practices in aquaculture system development.

Develop and implement training programs for our staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to operate and maintain our aquaculture systems.

Required Skills

Strong background in aquaculture, marine biology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in aquaculture system development and management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture, Marine Biology, or a related field from a recognized university.

Experience

Salary

SSP 50,000 – 70,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
