We are seeking a dedicated Financial Crime Compliance Analyst to join our team in Senafe, Eritrea. This role is critical in ensuring that our operations comply with all relevant anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), and sanctions regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring transactions, conducting investigations, and implementing compliance frameworks to mitigate financial crime risks. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily monitoring and analysis of transactions to identify suspicious activities.
  • Perform enhanced due diligence on high-risk customers and entities.
  • Investigate and report potential money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions violations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of AML/CTF policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports to relevant authorities in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial crime regulations and industry best practices.
  • Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required.

Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial crime compliance, AML, or a related role within the banking or financial services industry. Experience in conducting investigations and working with regulatory frameworks is essential.
