Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Network Engineer to join our team in Keren, Eritrea. As a Telecommunications Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our telecommunications network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement telecommunications network infrastructure, including fiber optic, microwave, and satellite systems
  • Configure and optimize network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configuration guides

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in telecommunications network engineering
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Experience with network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Education

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Experience

Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in telecommunications network engineering.

Salary

The salary range for this position is 60000 – 90000 SSP.
