Job Overview
We are seeking a visionary Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead our human capital strategy in Asmara. This executive-level role is critical to our long-term success, requiring a leader who can align human resources initiatives with our overarching business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, organizational development, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement. This is a high-impact role designed for a strategic thinker who can navigate the complexities of the Eritrean labor market while maintaining global standards of excellence.
The CHRO will act as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing guidance on organizational design and culture. You will be tasked with building a robust talent pipeline and ensuring that our organizational structure supports rapid growth and adaptability. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive human resources strategy that supports the firm’s business goals.
- Lead and mentor the HR team to ensure high-quality service delivery across all departments.
- Oversee talent management programs, including recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
- Drive organizational culture initiatives to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
- Manage compensation and benefits structures to remain competitive in the local and regional markets.
- Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and international regulatory standards.
- Advise the executive team on organizational design and workforce planning.

Education
A Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP or CIPD are highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role. Proven experience in a professional services or consulting environment is highly desirable. We are looking for a professional who has successfully managed large-scale organizational changes and has a track record of developing high-performing teams.
Salary
The offered salary for this position is between 45,000 SSP and 75,000 SSP per month, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. This is a competitive package designed to attract top-tier talent.
