Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Accessibility Specialist to join our team in Dekemhare, Eritrea. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services are accessible to people with disabilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct accessibility audits and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and implement accessibility testing plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accessibility is integrated into product development
- Provide training and support to employees on accessibility best practices
- Stay up-to-date with emerging accessibility trends and technologies
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Section 508)
- Experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g. WAVE, Lighthouse)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
