Job Overview
Honeywell Eritrea is seeking a highly skilled Industrial IoT Systems Integrator to design, deploy, and optimize IoT-enabled manufacturing systems in Dekemhare. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about bridging industrial processes with digital transformation. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT platforms, ensuring seamless automation and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement IoT systems for industrial automation and process optimization.
- Integrate IoT platforms with existing manufacturing infrastructure and legacy systems.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis to ensure reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and operations teams to align IoT solutions with business goals.
- Provide technical documentation and training for end-users and maintenance staff.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Microsoft Azure IoT).
- Experience with industrial automation protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus).
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and edge computing architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is a plus.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in industrial IoT integration, preferably in manufacturing or energy sectors.
Salary
15,000 – 25,000 Eritrean Nakfa (SSP) per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
