Job Overview
This role involves designing and implementing digital twin solutions for infrastructure projects in Eritrea. The ideal candidate will leverage Bentley’s software ecosystem to optimize engineering workflows, enhance project visualization, and improve decision-making for clients in energy, transportation, and urban planning sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Develop digital twin models for infrastructure projects using Bentley MicroStation and AECOsim software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT data into real-time simulation environments.
- Provide technical support for 3D modeling, BIM coordination, and geospatial analysis.
- Train local engineers on digital twin workflows and best practices.
- Optimize infrastructure designs for energy efficiency and climate resilience.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Bentley Systems software suite (MicroStation, ProStructures, etc.).
- Experience with digital twin architecture and IoT integration.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and BIM workflows.
- Fluency in Python or C# for automation scripting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Master’s degree preferred in Digital Engineering or Urban Planning.
Experience
- 3-5 years in digital twin development for infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in Eritrean or East African engineering environments.
Salary
120,000 – 160,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and project impact.
