Job Overview

This role is pivotal in designing and implementing construction materials solutions that reduce environmental impact while maintaining structural integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and test sustainable construction materials (e.g., recycled aggregates, low-carbon cement).
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate eco-friendly materials into project designs.
• Conduct lifecycle assessments to evaluate environmental impacts of materials.
• Ensure compliance with Eritrean and international sustainability standards (e.g., ISO 20122).
• Provide technical training to local teams on sustainable material applications.

Required Skills

• Expertise in material science and sustainable construction practices.
• Proficiency in CAD software and material testing equipment.
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication for cross-departmental collaboration.
• Fluency in Eritrean languages (Tigrinya/Arabic) and English.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Master’s Degree in Sustainable Engineering preferred.

Experience

Salary
