Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Keren, Eritrea. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing foundations, tunnels, and other underground structures. You will work closely with our construction team to ensure that all projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site investigations and analyze soil and rock samples
  • Design and develop geotechnical systems, including foundations, tunnels, and retaining structures
  • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure that projects are completed according to plan
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and geotechnical analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
